New 12 Volt to 6 Volt Runtz voltage reducers for dash gauges in antique and classic cars and trucks, when upgrading to a 12 volt system, so you can use your original 6 volt gauges. Use for dash gauges, only, such as fuel (gas) gauge, water temperature or oil pressure. This is the genuine, superior "Runtz" transistorized reducer, not the cheap ceramic resistor type or the really cheap Diode type. It takes voltages between 8 and 15 volts and makes 6 volts. Not for use on heater blowers, wiper motors, radios, ammeters (ammeters don't need a reducer), or tachometers. One Runtz is required for each gauge. Negative ground systems, only. Manufacturer's warranty. Instructions included with gas gauge troubleshooter, too. We couldn't get the gas gauge on our 1950 Chevy pickup to work with another type of reducer and then we found these! Voila! No more problems! Please note that there are imitation Runtz on the market. If you find one for a lot less money, beware!
